Prof. Subhas Mukhopadhyay
Macquarie University, Australia
Biography:
Subhas holds a B.E.E. (gold medallist), M.E.E., Ph.D. (India) and Doctor of Engineering (Japan). He has over 34+ years of teaching, industrial and research experience. Currently he is working as a Professor of Mechanical/Electronics Engineering, Macquarie University, Australia and is Discipline Leader of the Mechatronics Engineering Degree Programme. He is Director of International Engagement of School of Engineering. His fields of interest include Smart Sensors and sensing technology, instrumentation techniques, wireless sensors and network, IoT etc. He has supervised over 60 postgraduate students and over 180 Honours students. He has examined over 80 postgraduate theses.
He is a Fellow of IEEE (USA), a Fellow of IET (UK), a Fellow of IETE (India), a Topical Editor of IEEE Sensors journal, and an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurements, IEEE Review of Biomedical Engineering, IoP Measurement Science and Technology. He was a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Sensors Council from 2017 to 2022. He is the Founding chair of IEEE IMS NSW chapter and was the Founding chair of IEEE NSW Sensors Council Chapter.
Prof. Lidong Zhang

Biography:
Lidong Zhang, born in 1979 in Mengyin, Shandong, holds a PhD in engineering and graduated from the School of Control Science and Engineering, Shandong University. His lectures include "Automatic Control of Station Signal", "Introduction to Railway", "Object Oriented Programming", and "Vehicle Networking Technology".
His main study interests include traffic control, swarm intelligence, sustainable transportation. In recent five years, he has taken part in two NSFC projects and five other types of projects, and he has published about sixty academic papers, and half of them were indexed by SCI/EI database. And he was granted six invention patents and twenty software copyrights .
Prof. Dr. Law Teik Hua

Biography:
Dr. Teik-Hua, Law is Professor at the Civil Engineering Department, Universiti Putra Malaysia and serves as the Head of the Road Safety Research Center in Engineering Faculty, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Dr. Law also appointed as Adjunct Professor at Henan Polytechnic University in China. He received his Ph.D. in Road Safety from the Center for Transport Studies at the Imperial College of London. He has 22 years experience in road safety research and specialized in road crash and road users' behavior analysis. He has working on multiple international research projects offered by the Handicap International, the Volvo Sweden, the World Health Organization and the FIA foundation. Dr. Law has 55 journal papers published in the top transportation journals, such as Accident Analysis and Prevention, Transport Geography, Transportation Research Part A, Transportation Research Part D, Transportation Research Part F, Transport Policy, Journal of Safety Research. He is also a frequent presenter at national and international conferences.
Assoc. Prof. Kamal Hossain
Carleton University, Canada
Biography:
Dr. Hossain is an Associate Professor at Carleton University, Ottawa. Previously, Dr. Hossain served as an Assistant Professor at Memorial University. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Illinois Center for Transportation of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in USA, and at the Center for Pavement and Transportation Technology (CPATT) and Transportation System Solution Laboratory of the University of Waterloo. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering (Transportation) from the University of Waterloo. Dr. Hossain’s research interests include pavement engineering, pavement materials, and spring and winter road maintenance. He teaches highway and pavement engineering, and infrastructure management courses. Dr. Hossain has contributed to over 80 journal articles, conference papers and technical reports. Dr. Hossain serves in several technical committees and professional associations including United States Transportation Research Board (TRB) Standing Committees on Asphalt Binders (AKM20) and Pavement Maintenance (AKT30), APSE Research Task Force, ASCE Construction Institute Technical Committee on Bituminous Materials (BMC), Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE), Canadian Technical Asphalt Association (CTAA), and the Academy of Pavement Science and Engineering (APSE).
