Hosted by Central South University and Jimei University, the 2024 International Academic Conference on Intelligent Driving and Smart Transportation (IDST 2024) was successfully held online on 25 October 2024 . The conference bridges together academic researchers and industrial practitioners to share and exchange the latest developments in the area of intelligent driving and smart transportation.


2024年10月25日,由中南大学和集美大学主办,AEIC学术交流中心承办的2024年智能驾驶与智慧交通国际学术会议(IDST 2024)在线上成功举办。会议汇聚了学术研究人员和从业人员,共同分享和交流智能驾驶和智能交通领域的最新发展。

The conference invited renowned experts and scholars from home and abroad to give keynote speeches. Firstly, Dr Teik Hua Law, Professor at the Road Safety Research Center, Faculty of Engineering, University Putra Malaysia gave an excellent presentation entitled “Enhancing Road Safety and Traffic Efficiency with the Automatic Road Incident Detection System (ARIDS)”, which analysed the role of the Automatic Road Incident Detection System (ARIDS) in enhancing road safety and traffic efficiency.


本次会议邀请了国内外知名专家和学者进行主题报告。首先是来自马来西亚博特拉大学土木工程系的刘德华教授带来了题为 “Enhancing Road Safety and Traffic Efficiency with the Automatic Road Incident Detection System (ARIDS)” 的报告,深入分析了自动道路事故检测系统在提升道路安全和交通效率方面的作用。

The conference covered a wide range of fields such as unmanned driving, vehicle infrastructure cooperation, new energy vehicles, 5G networked vehicles and so on. During the conference, the attendees actively exchanged ideas, shared research results, and worked together on the development of intelligent driving and smart transportation.
